Is my plant ready to be repotted? Here are the tell tale signs!

We've all been there - you have a plant that has you questioning: is it time to repot? 🤔

Well, we're here to help! Here are a few signs you're going to want to look for:

1 - Your plant is thirstier than ever. Maybe you used to water it every other week and now you're watering it every few days. This is likely due to the fact that your plant has a robust root system for its current pot size and there is little growing media left to retain water that isn't consumed immediately.

2 - In addition to needing water more often, the new foliage on your plant is growing in a bit smaller. Your plant is likely not getting enough nutrition for the size it wants to be and can't support getting larger and lusher at the moment.

3 - If your plant is in a clear nursery pot, does the inside of the pot look like a bowl of spaghetti? It's time for a repot if you can't see much soil due to the root system.

4 - If your plant is in an opaque nursery pot and you can't see inside, give the pot a squeeze: does it feel solid like the pot is ready to bust open? You've likely got a monster on your hands!
